Texas permit and contact rules
Under the applicable municipal burglar-alarm subchapter, Texas law requires at least 30 days' notice before a municipality terminates an alarm permit for nonrenewal.

Under those subchapters, Texas law allows a municipality to require two attempts to contact the occupant before it responds to an alarm signal. Check the procedure your city adopted.
